We are excited to announce the setting apart of three Via Leaders to the priesthood and deaconess.

Kay Steele and Sara Maynard will be admitted to the ancient and Apostolic order of deaconess at 7:00 PM on June 23rd at our Cathedral Church - Via Lethbridge. These two amazing women have been training at Trinity School for Ministry, ministering in their local Churches and have spent the last year training with Bishop Todd in the history and ministry of deaconesses in the Church. After these many years of preparing, Bishop Todd is thankful for the opportunity to set apart Kay and Sara as deaconesses.

Dcn. Trevor Jameus will be ordained to the Holy and Apostolic Order of Priests the week of October 3rd in Calgary, Alberta. Dcn. Trevor was ordained a deacon in May of 2019 and has been ministering in Calgary as the Church Planter of Via Calgary. His training has continued since being ordained a deacon and Bishop Todd is excited for this next step for Dcn. Trevor, for Via,  and for Calgary.

Please pray for Kay, Sara, and Trevor as they finish their training and prepare their hearts and minds for the next step in their ministry in the Church.

Lord Jesus, you commanded us to make disciples of all nations: Bless all those who work together for the spread of the Gospel, especially Kay Steele and Sara Maynard; make them faithful and true witnesses to proclaim your glorious Name. Send down the grace of the Holy Spirit upon all your people, that we may give cheerfully of our substance for the evangelization of the world, and that the light of your truth may shine brightly in every place. Lord Jesus, you are the Good Shepherd who cares for his flock: We ask you to bestow upon your Church the gifts of the Holy Spirit in abundance, and to raise up from among us faithful and able persons called to the ministries of Deacon, Priest, and Bishop. Inspire them to spend and be spent for the sake of the Gospel, and make them holy and loving servants and shepherds of the flock for whom you shed your most precious blood. Grant this for the sake of your love. Amen.⁠
